On October 21st , Professor Tomas Gongol, Vice-President of Silesian University in Opava of Czech Republic, Associate Professor Roman Šperka, Vice Dean   of Silesian University in Opava, School of Business Administation in Karvina (SUSBA), and Veronika Novotna, international cooperation program leader of SUSBA visit LUFE. Vice President Hu Kai hosts the meeting and Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, international program leaders of School of Business Management and School of International Economics and Trade attend this meeting.

   Hu Kai warmly welcomes the delegation. He indicates since the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two universities in October 2018, the two sides have made practical progress in student exchanges, teacher visits and other aspects. It is hoped that the two sides can further actively promote the construction of double degree courses and expand scientific research cooperation in the field of information engineering. During the talks, the two sides have a warm discussion on specific cooperation topics, decide to invite the Silesian University in Opava to join the " China-Central Eastern European Countries Higher Education Institutions Consortium(CCHEIC)" as a partner institution of LUFE, and agree on the 2020 inter-university cooperation plan.

In the afternoon, the delegation discusses the course connection and credit recognition of "3+1" double degree joint program in detail with the international program leaders of School of Business Management and School of International Economics and Trade. And a presentation on higher education in the Czech Republic is also given to the students of LUFE.
