On October 25th , Professor Daniel Stavárek, Dean of Silesian University in Opava, School of Business Administation in Karvina, Czech Republic (SUSBA), Associate Professor Roman Šperka, Vice Dean of Foreign Affairs of SUSBA,and Associate Professor Michal Tvrdoň,Vice Dean of Science and Research of SUSBA, visit LUFE. LUFE Vice President Hu Kai hosts the meeting and Department of Human Resources, Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, School of International Economics and Trade, School of Business Management attend this meeting. 
Hu Kai warmly welcomes the delegation, emphasizes LUFE is one of the members of China-Central Eastern European Countries Higher Education Institutions Consortium(CCHEIC), and expresses the wish to in-depth cooperative relationship between two universities in advantageous majors. During the meeting, both parties put forward different modes of cooperation, such as student exchange, joint dual-degree program, visiting scholars, collaborative research projects, and introduction of foreign experts. It is decided to start short-term student exchange program for LUFE students to study in Czech Republic in September, 2019 and to accept short-term Czech scholar exchange to teach in LUFE. Meanwhile, relevant schools and departments will conduct further discussion about course and credit recognition of“3+1”joint dual-degree program. 

Silesian University in Opava was established in 1990 and considered as one of the 22 recognized universities by Czech Ministry of Education. SUSBA has 5 departments, including economics, business, finance, information engineering, and social management with bachelor, master and doctor degree. |
