On December 22th, Mustafa Babanli, rector, Rafig  Jamalov, vice-rector for foreign affairs, Li Renying, rector advisor, and Yashar  Hasanov, Dean of School of International Students of Azerbaijan State Oil and  Industry University visits LUFE. President Fu Deyin meets the delegation in  the No.8 meeting room in Chongde Building , heping campus. The delegation of Azerbaijan  State Oil and Industry University has inter-school conversations with vice-president  Hu Kai, School of Middle Asian Business, School of Changqing, and  International Exchange and Cooperation Department. Vice-president Hu Kai  hosts the meeting.

President Fu  Deyin warmly welcomes the delegation and gives a brief introduction to the  general situation of LUFE and especially that of international exchange and  cooperation. He puts forward hope to in-depth cooperative relationship  between two universities in advantageous majors. 

Professor  Mustafa Babanli, rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University  extends his gratitude to the warm reception and introduces characteristic specialties  and cooperative relationship of University of Derby and highlights advantages  of international students education. He sincerely invites professor Fu Deyin  and representatives of LUFE to officially visit Azerbaijan State Oil and  Industry University to further witness the implementation of cooperation.  

During the meeting, both parties put forward  different modes of cooperation, such as joint dual-degree program, visiting  scholars, collaborative research projects based on economics and management,  information science and management. After the meeting, professor Fu Deyin and  Mustafa Babanli representing the two universities sign the agreements.

Azerbaijan  State Oil and Industry University is located in Baku City, Azerbajian.  Established in 1920, it is a comprehensive public university administered by  Azerbajian State Ministry of Education. Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry  University is the earliest oil university in Asia and Europe and the largest  research center in the field of fuel energy industry and chemical technology  in Azerbaijan. It cultivated a large number of excellent oil talents and made  great contribution to the development of international oil industry. Mendeleev,  the world famous scientist, graduated from this university and used to teach  in it.
