TheInternational Exchange & Cooperation Department (IECD) is the officialadministrative department of Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics (LUFE)on implementing the LUFE international policies and on coordinating itsinternational exchanges and cooperation. In accordance with national policiesrelated to foreign affairs and the LUFE guidelines for university management,IECD is responsible for carrying out and coordinating activities dealing withforeign affairs and international academic exchanges and for developingmultifaceted international cooperation.

 

The main duties of IECD include:  

 

1. Implementing national policiesand regulations related to foreign affairs;  

 

2. Drafting and formulating plansand programs on developing international cooperation;  

 

3. Developing and maintaining exchangesand cooperation with international counterparts;  

 

4.Coordinating contract sign and organizing and carrying out the cooperationprograms;  

 

5.Coordinating activities dealing with foreign affairs and providing assistanceto faculty on international affairs;  

 

6. Processing long-term and short-term business andacademic visits abroad and filing private visits abroad on record;  

 

7. Recruiting foreign experts and teachers and makingarrangements for them;  

 

8. Undertaking foreign affairs reception work;  

 

9. Declaring and arranging international meetings;  

 

10. Publicizing the university’s foreign affairs and promotingits international image.
