On September 7th, “The Future Prospects of China-Belarus Relations” video conference hosted by the Institute of Strategic Studies of Belarus is held on Zoom platform. Belarus embassies and consulates in China, European Integration Research Center of Belarus, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belarus State University, Belarus Institute of Strategic Studies, and Jin Xin, director of the Center for Contemporary World Studies of the International Department of the CPC, Zhu Jijun, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of People's Government of Gansu Province,and leaders, experts and scholars of the China Academy of Modern International Relations, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China and other departments and institutions attend the meeting and deliver speeches. Cai Wenhao, president of LUFE, is invited to attend the meeting and make a keynote speech as the Chinese President of Gansu Institute of Belarus Research. Vice-President Hu Kai attends the meeting. With the theme of "China-Belarus Relations in the Current Geopolitical Turbulence", the meeting aims to discuss the internal and external factors affecting the domestic political turmoil and international political crisis in Belarus and their impact on regional and international security, as well as the common measures taken by China and Belarus to cope with modern challenges and develop bilateral relations. Participants make keynote speeches and exchange think tanks on international and regional developments since the epidemic, China-Belarus relations, bilateral cooperation in fighting the epidemic and jointly building the " Belt and Road".
