On January 10th, the opening ceremony of the  “Belarus Education Year” is held at Dalian University of Technology.The  opening ceremony is attended by Tian Xuejun, Vice Minister of Education of  the People's Republic of China, Li Jinke, Vice Governor of Liaoning Province,  Wen Xueqiong, Vice Mayor of Dalian, Igor Vasilievich Karpenko, Minister of  Education of the Republic of Belarus, and H.E. Rudy Kiryl, Ambassador of the  Republic of Belarus to China. Cai Wenhao, President of LUFE and Hu Kai, Vice  President of LUFE, are invited to attend “Belarus Education Year” opening ceremony  and the symposium on the development of relations between Belarus and China  in the field of education and its prospects

The opening ceremony of the "Belarus  Education Year", hosted by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic  of China and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, is an  important international exchange activity to implement the "Belt and  Road" initiative. In the coming year, China and Belarus will continue to  strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of education within the  framework of the "Belarus Education Year", and promote bilateral  cooperation in education, scientific research and talent training to a new  level.

On the openning ceremony, Cai Wenhao, representing  LUFE, signs Cooperation Agreement with Rector of Baranovichi State University,  Vasili Kochurko.

During the ceremony, Cai Wenhao and Hu Kai have an  in-depth communication with Rector of Belarusian National Technical  University, Sergei V. Kharytonchyk and Vice Rector of Belarus State Economic University  to further promote existing cooperation. All parties indicate that they would  take the "Belarus Education Year" as an opportunity to deepen  bilateral exchanges and cooperation, build an "Belt  and Road " educational community, and make greater contribution to the  healthy and stable development of comprehensive strategic partnership between  Belarus and China.

Since began "the Belt and Road" education  initiative in 2015, LUFE has carried out various cooperation and exchanges  with Russia, Belarus, Poland, Azerbaijan, Malaysia and other countries and  regions along “Belt and Road” in the fields of education and scientific  research.In 2016, LUFE signed cooperation agreement with Belarus State Economic  University and Belarusian National Technical University, co-constructed "China-Belarus  Institute of Modern Finance" with Belarus State Economic University, and  co-constructed "China-Belarus Institute of Computer and Information Technology"  with Belarusian National Technical University.
