From January 27thto 30th, invited by the Azerbaijan Customs, vice-president Prof. Hu Kai participates in the celebrating events dedicated to the 25thanniversary of Azerbaijan Customs and delivers a keynote speech titled “Efforts and Development Trends to Facilitate Trade by Local Chinese Governments” at the Theoretical and Practical Conference “Economic Security: Aspects of Trade Facilitation and Security”, organized jointly with Azerbaijan State University of Economics. International Customs Organization and representatives of national customs and higher education institutes from over 80 countries attend this Anniversary and Conference.
Besides, Prof. Hu Kai attends the symposium “The Role of Education in Socio-Economic Development” held by Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and has interschool talks on strengthening friendly cooperation with Prof. Adalat Muradov, president of Azerbaijan State University of Economics and vice-president Shahin Bayramov, reaching to an agreement that both parties send exchange students from September, 2017.
Thisvisit and conversation promote the interschool cooperation between LUFE andAzerbaijan State University of Economics, and contribute substantially toupgrade the open college-running model and integrate LUFE deeper into the Belt andRoad construction through cooperating and exchanging with higher educationinstitutes along the Belt and Road.
