On August 28th  LUFE holds “Gansu Institute   of Belarus Research” working promotion meeting,which is hosted by President Cai Wenhao and attended by Vice-president Ding Rujun.

At the meeting, Cai Wenhao reviewed the background and significance of the establishment of “ Gansu Institute of Belarus Research” and introduces the respective research directions of the three Belarus cooperative universities and the four Chinese cooperative universities in the Institute. He points out that based on the understanding of the national conditions of Belarus, our university will study the political pattern, economic trend, geographical advantage and the development of China-Belarus comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and other aspects, and strive to provide the Gansu Provincial Government with political consulting report.

Ding Rujun comprehensively reviews the cooperation between Gansu Province and Belarus from the aspects of trade and investment, higher education cooperation and sister city cooperation. He conducts in-depth analysis and judgment on the recent national conditions of Belarus and the risks of our province's investment in Belarus, and put forward specific suggestions on the research projects of the Institute.

According to their own professional work, the participants put forward corresponding opinions and suggestions for the development of the Institute, and actively discuss the key tasks of this year.

LUFE is the key unit of China-Belarus educational cooperation in Gansu Province. “Gansu Institute of Belarus Research” was inaugurated in LUFE in October 2019, aiming to build a platform for China-Belarus educational cooperation and cultural exchange, and serve as an important think tank and academic highland for the “ Belt and Road” construction of Belarus and Gansu Province.
